counsellor | philosopher

I counsel people who feel anxious, lost or stuck. I help them to find more freedom and meaning in life, while honouring their ability to heal and grow within relationships. I am committed to having compassionate conversations that respect their perspectives.

My counselling practice is creative and collaborative, guided by psychological research and informed about trauma. It affirms our diverse identities and attends to unconscious parts of ourselves. Using my interdisciplinary training, I integrate the processes of psychotherapy with insights from philosophy.

I meet clients in person in Central London (Fitzrovia) or online via Zoom. I work with individuals and groups.

Fees
£80 per 50-minute session for individuals. Please contact me for group rates. I also offer reduced rates for clients in need.

About me
I am an experienced counsellor and researcher who has worked in both clinical and non-clinical settings. My training focused on psychiatric rehabilitation and trauma recovery.

I work with individuals and groups on a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, substance use and other addictions, sexuality and relationship challenges. I also work for charities that provide psychotherapy to survivors of abuse and violence, including childhood abuse and sexual violence.

As an educator, I work with new and experienced counsellors to develop ethical practice as a vital part of our professional identity.
